Oh, thank God. At first glance, this looked kind of fiercely chic to us, and we were frozen to the spot for several minutes, unable to process the fact that Miss Zosia had somehow transitioned from her goofy-ass hipster-wear into a real live fashionista without us noticing it was happening.
But then, to our enormous relief, we got a closer look…
… and realized it was till pretty damn goofy. Once again, a ladystar has taken our advice on which of the latest trends to follow, but in her zealousness to please us, overdid it. Girl, when we said ruffles were in this season, we didn’t mean you needed to festoon yourself with them from top to bottom.
She almost had us, though. The pants are pretty cool, so long as we ignore the ruffled hem. The top is just an overdesigned mess. You’d need to remove at least three design elements for it to work. We do like the idea of a black floral paired with pinstriped pants, though.
The shoe choice is a complete puzzle to us. Maybe black pumps seem like an easy answer here, but we honestly can’t think of a better shoe for this look.
