Donna Karan Spring 2015 Collection
No one can do urban chic like Donna Karan. With this collection, the looks take on an internationally urban vibe with elements that recall India, Bali, Africa and Haiti but modernized and give a classically chic bent. The prints are stunning and sophisticated, but we’re really surprised that our eyes keep returning to those fringed suits, which give an old classic a youthful feel. LOVELOVELOVE the chic little shirtwaist dresses, which are all set off with fabulously chunky accessories; gorgeous belts and shoes, and an eye-catching square leather bracelet. You can’t walk down a street in Manhattan without hearing at least one language other than English, and if you walk the city far enough and long enough, you’re likely to hear pretty much any language in existence. This collection is that concept, in dress form. International but very New York at the same time.
