LOVING the dress. Hating the booties. We will refrain from yelling “STANK BOOT,” because she appears to be wearing socks, at least. Although seeing as how it’s August, there’s no way it’s anything but a swamp down there by the end of the day. Assuming Cate Blanchett sweats that is – and there’s no indication that she does.
We can’t stay mad. The look is chic and she’s working it. A pretty dress and the right attitude can make up for sweaty footwear choices. There’s a life lesson in there somewhere, but we’re going to need at least two more cups of coffee before attempting to unravel it.
