These pictures have been sitting around for a couple of days now because we weren’t entirely sure how we wanted to approach this one:
Robert Downey Jr. attends the ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ Los Angeles Premiere in clothes he found along the way.
We get it: He’s Robert Downey, Jr. He’s supposed to be irreverent and cheeky and unconventional. We’re fine with all of that. But does that automatically mean he has to wear something ugly? We were talking it over and we agreed that if he wanted to be a bit flip about it, he should have worn a suit with an Iron Man t-shirt. This? This is just an ugly leisure suit shirt paired with a conventional suit that’s a size too large for him and a mismatched tie. Nothing here looks good and nothing here looks cool enough to claim that the look is deliberate. It’s just badly mismatched clothes that don’t fit him. It’s a superhero film premiere and he’s not the star, we’re totally okay with a casual look in this case. He didn’t even have to wear a suit at all. So why go this route? When does it stop being ironic and become just plain bad?

OUT! Little Tramp by way of Boogie Nights! I don’t think so!
The various Minion Opinions of yesterday shook out like this:
Jennifer Aniston: IN, but almost everyone hated her shoes.
Dominic Cooper: IN, but almost everyone agreed that he looked a little sleazy. You naughty girls.
