Kim Kardashian in Roberto Cavalli in Paris

Posted on September 30, 2014

How come when she’s not with Kanye, she’s smiling and reacting to her surroundings but when she’s with him, she goes creepily robotic? That’s got “red flag” written all over it. If you had a friend who acted like that, you’d take her aside and let her know she can stay at your place for as long as she needs.

On the one hand, she makes everything she wears look bad. On the other hand, she chooses things that are either hard or impossible for anyone but a model to pull off. We don’t love that skirt, but it deserved far better than that nondescript coat and yet another boob-baring sheer top. She also has epically wrong ideas about shoes and proportion. She never met an ankle strap she didn’t like, but she never figured out that ankle straps tend to look pretty bad with tight skirts that hit halfway down the shin. Whenever we see a gal sporting a below-the-knee pencil skirt and gladiator sandals, we assume she’s someone who follows Kim on Instagram or something.

A white oxford shirt with a popped collar and some silver sandals could have made that tricky-ass skirt sing a little.
