One last Cannes party, before we clean out our folders completely. The stars came out to the L’Oreal-hosted “Lights on Women’s Worth” Awards to celebrate… the lights on women… or something. At any rate, they got dressed up and we’re here to tell them what they got wrong. Let’s go!
Ariana Greenblatt in Ann Demeulemeester

It’s darkly dramatic, but it feels so mature for her. Like, get your goth on if that’s what you want, girl, but there’s no need to be dressing like Helen Mirren.
Ed Westwick and Amy Jackson (in Alberta Ferretti)

We don’t love the sudden embrace of white linings in high fashion, but we have to admit her gown is a stunner. His suit is very nice, but everything is too long.
Eva Longoria in Carolina Herrera

This is the third Eva Longoria dress we’ve covered today and we’ve already forgotten the first two, just as we’re likely to forget this one soon. Like all of her gowns, it’s a perfectly fine choice that comes off fairly generic.
Gillian Anderson in Alexis Mabille

We have to assume the dress was designed with the belt in mind, because otherwise, it would be a shapeless tent, but it sure looks like they slapped that thing onto a dress that can’t quite handle it. The skirt looks great but the bodice is giving nightgown so it feels very unbalanced.
Sofia Carson in Francesco Scognamiglio Couture

Oof. Don’t like that at all. She’s usually so good about her choices, but we don’t think this suits her very well and it looks kind of cheap.
