Yes. This is exactly what we need right now: a LOunge literally stocked to the rafters with Irresponsibility Juice. It’s THURSDAY. Let’s start from the top and work our way down, shall we?

The Royal Brat.
It’s Daniel Ings’s third attempt at a George R.R. Martin adaptation, and he’s not wasting a single shit-eating grin.

Ings has that classic English character-actor energy, an ability to add much-needed comic relief to whatever setting he’s found himself in. He threw entertaining tantrums as the trouble-courting, cocaine-addled brother in Guy Ritchie’s TV-series remake of his movie of the same name, The Gentlemen. His athletic eyebrows and sculpted curls worked overtime on the dark comedy-drama I Hate Suzie, teen-comedy favorite Sex Education, and campy crime thriller The Woman in Cabin 10. In The Crown, he swapped coke for testosterone as the womanizing Mike Parker, who got Prince Philip (Matt Smith) caught up in scandal. But he is probably best known as feckless, maddening Luke, sidekick to Johnny Flynn’s lovelorn Dylan, in the much-beloved sitcom Lovesick, which premiered on Channel 4 in 2014 as Scrotal Recall before finding a much larger audience on Netflix under a new name. Ings brings a kind of cocky incredulity to each character, communicating in exaggerated stares, pregnant pauses, and shit-eating grins.

How Different Is Emerald Fennell’s “Wuthering Heights” Compared to Emily Brontë’s Book?
The director made it clear it’s far from an exact retelling

Ever since the release of the “Wuthering Heights” trailer, the internet has been flooded with talk about how loyal the Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi film will be to the original Emily Brontë novel of the same name.
First looks at the highly anticipated movie sparked curiosity (and concern) among fans of the literary classic, who were confused by some of the more avant garde costumes, as well as the controversial casting and design choices in director Emerald Fennell’s latest project. Not to mention, there have been endless questions about why the title of the timeless love story has been decorated with quotation marks – and what this means for the adaptation.
So, is “Wuthering Heights” true to the novel? How much has been changed for Emerald’s retelling of the iconic tale? And what’s with those quotation marks?

How To Get To Heaven From Belfast is a stellar chronicle of female friendship
Glamour chats to the show’s star Roisin Gallagher about the beauty and ferocity in the protagonist trio’s bond, which is beautiful to watch on screen.

As Lisa McGee’s new series How To Get To Heaven From Belfast drops on Netflix, we approach the four-year marker since her genius TV series Derry Girls left our screens, with the show’s beloved teenage group of bandits voting “yes” in the Good Friday Agreement for a hopeful future and Dreams by The Cranberries bringing us all to nostalgic tears.
The plot of McGee’s new TV venture may differ from its predecessor, but the writer’s heart and soul is in a very similar place, penning another ode to female friendship – but this time, to the messy nature of adult friendship amongst women.

7 nail colours we’re loving for spring (and 7 we’re swapping out)
Nail your manicure this season.

Leaving behind the glitz and glamour of winter, the start of the year is often a time for restraint and reflection, but that doesn’t mean your manicure has to be boring. With a few modern updates to signature spring tones, your nails will have everyone wondering if being the main character is top of your 2026 resolutions.
So, whether you’re after a ‘New Year, New Me’ vibe, want to strip things back and keep it simple, or lean into the fresh springtime season (did somebody say florals for spring?) – there’s a manicure for whatever mood you’re in as the days get longer and the weather (fingers crossed!) starts to pick up.

How to style a silk scarf like the girls on Pinterest
The ultimate multi-tasker.

If you feel like you’ve been seeing the silk scarf everywhere this year, it’s because you have.
It seems when it comes to accessories, we’re throwing it way back – and no, we don’t mean to the 80s or the 90s. We’re travelling back to the 50s thanks to one hot item that our favourite celebrities and influencers have deemed to be the accessory of the season: the scarf.
And when we say scarf, we’re not talking about the oversized, long scarf you can wrap around and around your neck in the cooler months – we’re talking about the classic silky square-shaped scarf, typically worn around your head like a glamorous classic movie star.

How to style a raincoat for spring like a total fashion pro
Staying dry and looking chic has never been easier.

We’re sorry, but it’s time to bring out your raincoat. Just a glance outside your window will tell you that we’ve now reached that point in winter where heavy pours are inevitable and your trusted warm coat just won’t do. But how to wear a raincoat during this tricky winter-becomes-spring transitional season without looking like you just came back from a hike or a week camping at a festival? In 2026, your raincoat can become a styling piece and a true hero of the transitional season.
When it comes to raincoat style inspo, look no further than the SS26 catwalks, where designers gave us few less reasons to fear the occasional sprinkle. Not typically considered the most stylish garment in our wardrobe, the humble raincoat suddenly got an upgrade. From London to Paris to Milan, luxury brands are giving the technical jacket a fashion-forward spin, not just in the design but also in the way they’re styled.

How Sweetpea Golightly became Industry‘s surprising star
Is this TV’s most complex female character?

If there’s one thing the creators of Industry know how to do, it’s write a difficult woman. Enter: Sweetpea Golightly. Like most of Industry’s female characters, she’s not difficult in the way a misogynist might label a female colleague – you know, bossy and unwilling to pander. Over the course of the show’s four seasons, we’ve seen the show’s women plot elaborate takeovers of multinational corporations, dominate men on the trading room floor and in the bedroom, and commit betrayals so cold they make Judas look tame.

Lily Collins on her favourite things to see, do and eat in Paris
For Glamour Locals, Emily in Paris star Lily Collins takes us on a guided tour of her favourite spots in the city of lights.

Emily may be in Paris, but she is certainly not of it. In fact, few people are less Parisian and more American than bubbly marketing maven Emily Cooper. After five seasons (and a truly inexplicable visa situation) she remains blissfully unaware of her loud, all-American gaucheness; wholly blind to her loud not-so Parisian chic designer ensembles. She is, and I say this in the gentlest way possible, the kind of American in Paris who smiles broadly and says things like “seel voo plat” and “krossaunt.” No shade to Emily, of course. After all, we love her just as she is and wouldn’t have it any other way!
But for Lily Collins, the woman who brings sweet, all-American Emily to life, all of this couldn’t be further from the truth. While Emily may have remained a stranger to the real Paris, for Collins, the city seems to have seeped into her very bones.

Wuthering Heights Is Weird. Emily Brontë Was Even Weirder
Was she agoraphobic, neurodivergent, in love with her own brother? As a new adaptation of her gothic classic hits theaters, historians break down the questions that still swirl around the most enigmatic Brontë.

Of literature’s “three weird sisters”—as writer Ted Hughes famously dubbed the Brontës—Emily is the weirdest, probably because history knows so little about her. Sandwiched between bestselling Jane Eyre author Charlotte, the family’s press-savvy manager and myth-maker, and Agnes Grey writer Anne, the sweet and pious peacemaker, was Emily Jane, the elusive middle sister whose personality still evades readers nearly two centuries after her untimely death.
“The strange one,” as she’s often called, may have been autistic, antisocial, agoraphobic, and/or anorexic. She may have been a lesbian, or in an incestuous relationship with her brother. In any case, the author of Wuthering Heights—arguably the horniest Gothic novel ever written—was probably a virgin with a vivid imagination. As a soaking-wet Heathcliff on horseback rides over wild moors and onto movie theatre screens yet again in Emerald Fennell’s reimagining of the novel, here are some burning questions biographers are still asking about the strangest Brontë sister.

11 Best Lightweight Perfumes To Give You A Floaty, Sheer And Subtly Expensive Scent
Understated fragrances are officially in.

Lightweight perfumes are having a moment, and it won’t come as a surprise to anyone as to the reason why. The rising trend of perfume layering means that a sheer blanket of aroma has become more desirable than a traditionally heavier, long-lasting scent; not to mention, a lighter scent gives an effortlessly wearable finish that feels more like you’ve stepped through a soft cloud of fragrance rather than dousing yourself in it.
Beloved minimalist perfume brands have proven their appeal – think Diptyque, Byredo and Maison Margiela Replica – all of which boast translucent veils of fragrance within their ranges that deliver an elegant, put-together finish without veering overly loud. Note to rise of clean perfumes, which use bubbly aldehydes and soft musks to cocoon the skin in soft, subtle scent, and the refreshed allure of an airy body spray over a classic fragrance.

How to Style Khaki Pants Like a Cool Girl This Spring
Let these 10 outfit ideas prove once and for all just how versatile—and stylish—classic khakis can be.

Learn how to style khaki pants like a fashion pro, and you’ll realize you’ve been wrong about the trousers your entire life.
It’s not your fault: The mere mention of khakis probably brings to mind the kind of low-rise chino trousers typically seen on finance bros and preppy dads. In the past, I was a self-described khaki hater and thought these business casual babies could never look cool. But once I started to see past all that, I came to realize that they can actually be the backbone of a well-rounded wardrobe. (Okay, fine—maybe not the backbone, but the femur at least.)

James Van Der Beek, Beloved ‘Dawson’s Creek’ Star, Dies at 48 Following Cancer Battle
The actor was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer in August 2024.

James Van Der Beek has died. The beloved actor, known for his roles in Dawson’s Creek, Varsity Blues, and Castle in the Sky, passed away at the age of 48 following a battle with cancer.
The actor’s wife, Kimberly Van Der Beek, announced the news on Instagram with a tribute photo. “Our beloved James David Van Der Beek passed peacefully this morning. He met his final days with courage, faith, and grace,” she wrote in the caption. “There is much to share regarding his wishes, love for humanity and the sacredness of time. Those days will come. For now we ask for peaceful privacy as we grieve our loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend.”

Katie Holmes Remembers James Van Der Beek: ‘I Am So Grateful to Have Shared in a Piece’ of His ‘Journey’
Katie Holmes penned a heartfelt tribute to her “Dawson’s Creek” co-star James Van Der Beek following the news of his death at the age of 48.
Holmes — who broke out on the teen drama as Joey Potter, the love interest of Van Der Beek’s Dawson Leery — posted on Instagram late Wednesday night to share a handwritten note to him. He died on Wednesday after being diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2023 and is survived by his wife, Kimberly Brook, and their six children.

The Remix: Gainsborough’s 18th-Century Portraits Versus the Runway
It can be easy to romanticize the past—especially when you are looking at beautiful images featuring enchanting garments. Such is the case with the paintings of Thomas Gainsborough. The portraits of this 18th-century British painter have been collected for the first time in “Gainsborough: The Fashion of Portraiture,” an exhibition opening at the Frick Collection in New York on February 12.
What the artist’s subjects are wearing is an important topic, which the museum explores alongside subjects like class and power. The overlap with New York Fashion Week is fortuitous—and telling. Portraits, which are time-intensive, projected prosperity, with sitters usually dressed in their “Sunday best.” In Gainsborough’s day, it wasn’t just the cut of an outfit that communicated status and rank, but also the materials from which it was made. Among the painter’s subjects were stylish, tastemaking women such as the Scottish courtesan Grace Dalrymple Elliott—predecessors to today’s influencers, who will sometimes change outfits between shows in the hopes of catching the eye of street style photographers.

James Van Der Beek Will Be Remembered for ‘Dawson’s Creek,’ but His Best Work Was Far Funnier and Odder
‘Varsity Blues’ and ‘Dawson’s Creek’ generated the memes, but things like ‘Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23’ showed Van Der Beek’s talent.

One of my most fiercely held television positions — one that has been known to elicit gasps of incredulity and even horror when I share it — is that Joey (Katie Holmes) and Dawson (James Van Der Beek) belonged together on Dawson’s Creek.
This is not a traditionally defensible affiliation. If Dawson’s Creek wasn’t even Team Dawson — and it SURELY was not — what kind of viewer would latch onto a show’s original ‘ship and cling to it long after the storytellers themselves relinquished their hold on the pairing? It was clear from very early on that the real chemistry was between Joey and Pacey, dooming poor Dawson to subplots related to his insufferable artistry, a variety of short-term romantic relationships and the grief over his father’s death — a tragic ice cream-related accident — that spawned the meme that has become one of the WB favorite’s largest cultural legacies.

Galloping into Lunar New Year: Fascinating Horse Imagery in Medieval Manuscripts
The horse is a potent symbol of vitality, strength, and transformation

Lunar New Year, celebrated in 2026 on February 17, marks a season of renewal when families reunite, honor ancestors, and welcome the year ahead. It also begins a new sign in the 12-year zodiac cycle, in which each year is associated with an animal—the horse for 2026.
Lunar New Year is determined by the traditional lunisolar calendar, which follows the moon’s phases while staying aligned with the sun and seasons. Months run from one new moon to the next (about 29.5 days), while the solar year is based on Earth’s orbit around the sun (about 365.25 days). Because 12 lunar months total only about 354 days, lunisolar calendars periodically add a leap month to keep months and seasons in sync, so the length of the year can vary. As a result, the date of Lunar New Year changes each year, typically falling between January 21 and February 20. Today, Lunar New Year is celebrated in many Asian countries—including China, Vietnam, Malaysia, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia—and in Asian communities around the world.

Wuthering Heights’ costume design doesn’t owe you historical accuracy
Brimming with historical inaccuracies, the costumes in Emerald Fennell’s film have been the source of much online debate. But does period dress in general really need to stay true to its time?

Costume designers have been having a hard time recently. Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights has caused a stir since the day it was announced, and our first glimpse of Margot Robbie as Cathy was no exception. Last March, when images emerged of Robbie wearing an ivory, off-the-shoulder wedding dress, online critics were quick to point out that white wedding dresses were popularised by Queen Victoria, around 40 years after Wuthering Heights takes place. Not to mention the silhouette, which is creative to say the least.
Then, in November, we got the teaser trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2, prompting yet another debate about whether or not Miranda Priestly would be caught dead in Valentino Rockstuds (see here). And to top it all off, as if costume designers needed anymore criticism last year, director Luca Guadagnino gave an interview in which he diminished their work, comparing them unfavourably to fashion designers and using his frequent collaborator Jonathan Anderson as an example. “Costume designers tend to think in terms of the garment,” he explained, “[whereas] designers of fashion think in terms of the body who wears them.” Several Oscar-winning costume designers were quick to disagree.

Emerald Fennell and Baz Luhrmann Are Horny For Making Movies
Emerald Fennell, a self-proclaimed “psychotic details demon,” convinced two of Hollywood’s biggest stars to sign on to the horniest film of the year, one of her many talents. With Wuthering Heights, an adaptation of Emily Brontë’s 19th-century novel about an explosive romance between Catherine (Margot Robbie) and Heathcliff (Jacob Elordi), the actor-turned-director has cemented her status as a provocative auteur. Not only is Fennell’s singular blend of romanticism, horror, and wit penetrating the zeitgeist (who could forget the bathtub scene in Saltburn?), but it’s also daring audiences to return to the theaters, a feat fellow worldbuilder Baz Luhrmann can’t stop raving about.

His iconic portrayal of Dawson Leery helped define a generation of television for fans and continues to resonate with audiences today. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.”

Closing vents in unused rooms can strain your system and increase your utility bill.

Closing air vents in rooms you rarely use may seem like an easy way to reduce your utility bill and add more heat to the rooms you do spend time in, but it could do more harm than good. Your HVAC system is designed to move a certain amount of air throughout your house, and shutting air vents disrupts this balance, potentially causing issues with your system and even higher utility bills. Ahead, an HVAC expert explains why you should never close your air vents—and what to do instead to make your system run more efficiently.

This Is the Only Place on Earth Where 4 Countries Meet—and It Has National Parks and the World’s Biggest Waterfall
This may be one of the most magical places on the planet.

Southern Africa is home to some of the world’s most spectacular natural wonders, and nowhere is this more evident than at the Kazungula Quadripoint, often called the “Four Corners of Africa.”
This unique crossroads, where four countries—Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Namibia—meet, is part of the Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area. It’s a region defined by wildlife encounters, outdoor exploration, and jaw-dropping landscapes, including the iconic Victoria Falls. While many travelers head straight toward more well-known destinations, like South Africa, this region remains one of the continent’s best-kept secrets.
