Queen Maxima continued her 2026 winning style streak by stepping out today in a look with which we have not a single issue or critique.
Our work here is done. Joking aside, she hasn’t really changed a single thing about her style preferences, from the bold color to the big hat to the jewelry with personality. But while we think the top is boxy and stiff-looking, it’s not enough to get us to speak against it. The look works, partially because the skirt is in a neutral color with a shape that coordinates well with the top — although looking at this skirt makes us wish pencil skirts would trend back in style. If we’re being bluntly honest — as you know we must — we wouldn’t have recommended such a large hat with this outfit. That thing needs a big coat or cape under it to work well. And finally, that brooch makes the entire look. It’s gorgeous and sassy.
