At the BFI London Film Festival premiere of H Is For Hawk, star Claire Foy opted to take up space but also to stay in her little box. That probably doesn’t sound like it makes sense, but we can assure you, the dress has all the answers for you.
You know what? We kind of love this. Yes, at first glance, she’s a box with legs and a head, but the shape of it is legitimately dramatic and the oddness of it really suits her. It’s styled really well too. A dress like this can go so wrong without the right styling and wearer, but she’s got the personality for it and the sleek hair and low-key jewelry really set it off. Our only quibble is with the eye makeup, which feels a little too heavy for her.
