Queen Maxima put on some bigass earrings, another of her beloved hats, a pretty fantastic skirt, and a bunch of mismatched accessories today, which makes it like pretty much any other day. The Queen stopped by the National Museum of Antiquities in Leiden to visit the “Above Ground Level – 25 Years of Archaeological Finds” Exhibition.
As we said, a pretty great skirt. Personally, we would not have pulled out the yellow in order to build an ensemble around it, largely because yellow is a tough color to pull off and an even tougher one to match. The hat coordinates well with it, but every other accessory should’ve been blue and we’d have liked that blouse in one of the browns. Actually, we’d like that blouse to be destroyed because of that incredibly weird sleeve situation, but your gal loves herself some tricky pieces.
