Miu Miu held its annual Venice shindig in promotion of the brand’s film series “Women’s Tales,” and a whole bunch of celebuladies showed up to akwardly work some borrowed Miu Miu pieces that should probably only be worn by models. Several of the attendees also showed up for the photo call, which we featured yesterday. Let’s get to judging!

It’s terrible. Sorry, girl. Your film’s all buzzy, which is good for you, but you really need to grab hold of the fashion reins or hire someone who can do it for you. This is not it.

It’s okay, but the fit in the bust is terrible and the embellishment trimming the neckline is too heavy.

A semi-cute dress ruined by an awful cutout.

The whole look just feels tired to us. The sweetly retro circa 1970 style has been played out at this point. Get a new schtick, Miuccia.

As classic as it gets. We’d love to applaud the more adventurous pieces and leave the FLOTUS fashion for an actual First Lady, but there’s no denying this is one of the best looks of the lot.

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard

It looks like she zhuzhed up the somewhat awkward ensemble she wore to the photo call. The new shoes work better, but the jacket isn’t helping. He’s acceptably attired.

Sadie Sink

The cutouts are horrifying, but she’s to be commended for doing such a good job of working it.

This is cute. The fact that it’s simple and uncomplicated while also being one of the best looks of the night is not lost on us. Ladies, when Miu Miu offers you a free outfit, go for the easiest one.
