The premiere of The King’s Man happened in London a couple of nights ago and if we’re being completely honest here, FKA Twigs (who has a song on the film’s soundtrack) was the only person who showed up with an understanding of the assignment. We want drama on our red carpets right now.
Look, we could quibble with some of the details of the dress, specifically the fit and the drape. And we concede that this might not be the best color for her. But the style is unique and the finishing touches — all of them: the makeup, hair, jewelry and boots, are so interesting or unexpected that we just can’t stop looking at it all. As always, that’s the point of celebrity red carpets. She gets it.
