Last month, Miss Lilly wore a Celine dress that Emily Blunt had worn a few weeks before and we were giddy about it because that sort of thing used to happen all the time but is an increasing rarity in this red carpetless era. Is Lily Collins pulling a Single White Female on Emily Blunt? Or is she just trying to force a string of “Who Wore it Best” pieces? Because yes, Miss Emily also wore this exact Saint Laurent getup last month – and wore it better, if you must know. Not that Lily can’t work it, but Emily has a sharpness to her that lends itself to pulling off something as goofy as a culotte pantsuit. Interestingly enough, we think Lily can work the soft tone-on-tone of the matching blouse, which was the one part of the look we didn’t love when Emily wore it.
