Timothée Chalamet, Elle Fanning and Monica Barbaro brought high style and glamour to the premiere of A Complete Unknown, but unfortunately, it looks like this promo tour is going to get a little theme-y in terms of style.

We have no idea why he carried a Beyblade and made such a show of it. Maybe it’s his red carpet security blanket or maybe he just bought a stake in the company. Anyway, he looks pretty great. We don’t expect a ton of agreement on this one, but we actually think the slightly sleazy head styling, which is presumably due to his currently shooting Marty Supreme, is a good look for him. Or maybe it’s just a good look with this outfit, which is giving just enough of a Dylan vibe (love the boots) without tipping entirely over into cosplay. It’s giving high-fashion rockstar, which is pretty much anathema to Dylan himself, but is perfect for a glitzy red carpet premiere of a movie about him. On the other hand, as much as we like the pins, literally emblazoning himself with Dylan’s name and picture is a bit much. We get that it’s a branding thing, but it’s like showing up to your superhero movie wearing a Target t-shirt with your character on it. Still a good look, though.

While we think the pigtails are just a bit too precious for our tastes, we do appreciate seeing an unusual hairstyle on the red carpet, sported by the person best suited to try it. There’s nothing juvenile about the style, which was sported by plenty of starlets 60 years ago. It helps that the gown is elegant and the look offers enough sparkle to keep the glamour level up. We don’t love her in pale colors or white, but for some reason, we mind it less here.

We just love this gal for saying “No way in hell I’m showing up in Joan Baez mid-sixties folk drag.” Take your moment and run with it, diva. She looks hot and of-the-moment, but we hate the shape of the “bodice.” We actually don’t mind the open sides and back, but that batwing bust shape is odd. The skirt is stunning.
