In these Unprecedented Times, the stylist studio try-on sesh (long a standard of celebrity style-obsessed social media watchers) has become integrated fully into the celebrity promotional tour. There are so few red carpets and photo calls that these sorts of lightly styled, low key, behind-the-scenes looks – which are, to be fair, usually chosen to be worn for interviews and other teleconferenced appearances – have become the celebrity media’s go-to arena for style content. We’re two prissy-ass queens who prefer when stars give us the full glamour treatment from home (and feel we have a… professional obligation to encourage the practice), but even we have to admit, some stars take to the barefoot chic setting and style of these shots. Miss Gal can pull of the highest of high red carpet glamour, but there’s so much more charm in the shots (and the outfits), when she looks relaxed or amused by it all.

In a similar vein, we of course prefer the killer stilettos, but the fuzzy slippers are clearly closer to her heart and thus a lot more charming than some high-glam shot. Love the colors here but those pants are probably not well-suited for the real world.
