We’re not gonna lie here: we’re disappointed.
On the one hand, a glamour gown wiht a cosmic starburst theme is perfectly on point. On the other hand, we’re starting to find Rodarte’s turn toward more generic designs for the red carpet to be a bit underwhelming. More to the point: the color story here is awful and we tend to think Brie is much better served in off-the-beaten-track designs or over-the-top styles like the custom Valentino she wore to the film’s London premiere. This? This is practically the definition of underwhelming to us.
Having said that, we’re bitch enough to admit that our expectations or preconceptions do not make a convincing set of criteria upon which to judge an outfit’s success, so we’re turning over the final say to you:
