Success – not to mention extreme eighties-ism – happens to look pretty damn great on Miss Natasha. Riding high on the (justified) critical acclaim for her new series Russian Doll, she’s been stepping out in a refreshed and renewed sense of style, dipping heavily into the ’80s vault because of course she’s perfectly suited to things like broad shoulder’s and enormous kitty bows.
The jacket and blouse look great on her. The shorts need a little work. They’ve clearly been altered for her size, but something was lost in the proportions. Honestly, a pair of pants would’ve completed the look just as well. Even so, we’ve spent years passing her by on red carpet coverage because she never quite seemed like she was into it, but if she keeps serving up this Power Bitch realness, then we might have to re-calibrate our settings on her.
