Darlings, meet Shakti-Jade.

Shakti-Jade’s mother is a famous film director and her father is a famous musician whom she has only met twice: at her fifth birthday and at his arraignment for setting a suite at The Pierre on fire. Her conception was announced on the cover of People magazine and she has the distinction of being the first (and only) baby to be born at the Betty Ford Center. Her parents feel a little guilty because of the ways in which they clearly screwed her up, so in order to stave off the inevitable addictions and arrests down the road, they’ve decided to ply her with material goods and get her the best education money can buy. Unfortunately, her private all-girls Manhattan boarding school is stocked to the gills with the daughters of the rich and famous and, like hardened criminals in prison, they all spend their days and nights honing their bitchy entitlement and total lack of moral guidance to a razor-sharp edge, just waiting for the day when they can unleash their full fury on the world.

Shakti-Jade’s hobbies include making service workers feel small and pointless, making shop girls earn every penny of their commission, ceramics, and  attempting to seduce her teachers. She dabbles in light eating disorders and illegal pill usage, but she’s saving herself for her 18th birthday, when she plans on graduating to crack and sex on dance floors.
