Longchamp held a little “let’s celebrate purses” party in New York, as people in fashion are prone to doing, in order to pay homage to the brand’s twenty-year collaboration with design Jeremy Scott. Celebrities showed up in outfits, as celebrities are prone to doing whenever there’s a party with cameras. Shall we offer our thoughts on their style efforts in a loving, constructive, and supportive manner? Together? Like a family? Let’s. Except for that loving and supportive part.
Dascha Polanco

This feels like the quintessential Dascha Polanco outfit; big, sexy, streetwear-inspired, and hard to miss. We don’t have any notes or critiques; not because we love this or think it’s flawless, but because it’s a very specific style that’s very well suited to her, and any sort of suggestions we would make to “improve” it would only take it away from what she likes about it. Still, the hairbow is awful. And while we love the bag, it really doesn’t go.
Emma Roberts

The skirt is cute in that super-preppy way that doesn’t actually appeal to us but is kind of perfect for her. We’re puzzled by all of the other choices, however. None of them really go with the skirt all that well. The sweater looks chintzy as hell and the shoes look tacky.
Kate Mara

That’s a nice jacket, but it really doesn’t go with the rest of the outfit, which is also nice and would benefit from a divorce. But the best part of the look are the shoes. SUPER cute.
Zoey Deutch

We can’t imagine wearing all that tweet with an exposed bra and a pair of nearly naked sandals. It just looks so itchy and unbalanced. It’s a great suit, though. We look forward to seeing someone wear it the way God intended: in October, with tights, boots, and a top.
