Hamnet star Jessie Buckley picked up her trophy at the Actor Awards, where she was evidently a little chilly, seeing as how she brought her favorite comforter with her.
Or perhaps her tablecloth got caught in her dress somehow. We said in our Cosmo writeup that this was one of the least interesting things she’s worn lately, but in the light of day, we’re not convinced we got that right. The… wrap, we guess we’d call it (although it’s doing a poor job of wrapping her) is definitely not generic. In fact, it’s got the kind of slightly off vibe that her style preferences tend to land on, but we just don’t feel it works in combination with a dress that plain. We can tell the starkness of the design is meant to set off the odd shape of the wrap, but it just doesn’t work for us. She looks overwhelmed by that thing.
