A teaser trailer and character posters for The Devil Wears Prada 2 has dropped. We have no opinions on it at all. PSYCH! Scroll past the eerily smooth faces to get to our observations.
Honestly? It doesn’t look too bad. The bit about Miranda having no idea who Andy is comes off pretty funny and true to the character. We suspect very strongly that she will have some sort of vulnerable moment where she admits that she missed Andy or whatever, which will totally ruin the bit. They should have her completely confused by Andy’s presence through the entire film. In related news, Meryl looks amazing. They all do. Yeah, our hopes don’t remain too high for this one, but it’s hard to look at that cast and assume it’ll be bad.

The film is directed by David Frankel, written by Aline Brosh McKenna, produced by Wendy Finerman, and executive produced by Michael Bederman, Karen Rosenfelt and Aline Brosh McKenna.
