Tilda Swinton served up a little Thin White Duke realness at the BAFTAs and we feel that calls for a moment of your time.

Lady tuxes are nothing new and to be bluntly honest, comparisons to David Bowie got stale a long time ago, but sometimes you’ve just got to recognize when the lady is pulling off the kind of old-school Androgyny Chic you just don’t see anymore. She looks fabulous and other-worldly, proving that garments can change considerably just by the attitude and the persona of the wearer charging it with their specific energy. The model in the look book is giving us nothing. Pope Tilda is giving us Bowie and Dietrich and Annie Lennox and Gladys Bentley and just a whole line of gender warriors and artists stretching back decades. She’s got that kind of power. Love the brooch. Not so much on the bowling shoes.
