It’s MONDAY and we feel we need some quiet elegance to help us through it. Come join us in our banquette and raise your pinkie with us. But we’re afraid we must dash soon because we have a ton of frivolous things to show you today, including a podcast. We’ll start a tab.
How Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Put Boricua Culture on the World’s Stage
The Puerto Rican artist put a collective celebration of Caribbean Latino culture on full display.
Facing hatred, Bad Bunny led the Super Bowl with love.
When the superstar said everyone would dance during the Super Bowl halftime show, Latinos around the world immediately knew what that meant: that we’d be watching a collective celebration of Caribbean Latino culture on full display.
Everyone who listened to his Grammy Award-winning Debí Tirar Más Fotos can understand how deeply ingrained his pride for his homeland is. Through symbols such as the Pava hat, the plataneras (plantain trees) and the plastic chairs visible on the album cover, he sends a clear message: This is what Puerto Rico is about.
Bad Bunny Stuns the Super Bowl With Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin and a Real Wedding Ceremony as Pedro Pascal, Jessica Alba and More Party on Stage
Bad Bunny promised “the world will dance” in his advertisement before the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show, and his joyous, elaborate, unapologetic, unity-themed performance did not disappoint as he — with Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin and many more — raced through a medley of his songs, introducing them and himself to many of the more than 125 million viewers.
The show was steeped in the tradition of Latin America and especially his native Puerto Rico, as the elaborate set included a mock sugar-cane field and a Puerto Rico vecindad, with a barber shop, liquor store, and the iconic “casita,” the small house where Bad Bunny welcomed celebrity guests during his Puerto Rico concert residency last summer (previewed in Variety‘s June 2025 Bad Bunny cover story).
All the Super Bowl halftime movie trailers we’re excited about
Forget sports, we are watching for the movie sneak peeks.
Ah, the Super Bowl. A night for music lovers, movie lovers, greasy food lovers, and celebrity lovers. Oh yeah, and I guess there’s some stuff for sports lovers, too. One of my personal favourite parts of the yearly American football game is, obviously, halftime – you know, when all of the exciting stuff happens. The spectacular show! (All hail Bad Bunny). The ridiculous ads! And, of course, the movie trailer debuts.
This year, we got our hands on nine new trailers. We got our first look at Brad Pitt in the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood sequel. We got a glimpse of the horror to come in Scream 7. We also got a peek at Milly Alcock’s upcoming Supergirl. There are, officially, loads of exciting blockbusters to look forward to this year.
Margot Robbie’s Revelation About the Original Casting of “Wuthering Heights” Is Going Viral
Margot Robbie has opened up about the original casting of “Wuthering Heights”, confirming that she was not supposed to star as Catherine Earnshaw.
“I wasn’t always going to be in it,” Robbie recently revealed. “I was thrilled to be the producer, but at some point, we were talking about Cathy, and I decided to throw my hat into the ring.”
“Wuthering Heights” is the most talked-about film of the moment, with Emerald Fennell’s highly-anticipated adaptation hitting cinemas next week.
The 2026 release is inspired by Emily Brontë’s 1847 gothic romance novel, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi as tortured lovers, Catherine and Heathcliff.
And from the viral press tour videos to Robbie’s iconic gothic romance fashion looks, the long-awaited release is all anyone has been talking about.
The 11 Best Commercials From the 2026 Super Bowl
While there are, yes, plenty of people tuning in to the 2026 Super Bowl to actually, you know, see the game, the rest of us are 100% there for the Bad Bunny halftime show—and, of course, the very best commercials that the advertising industry was capable of coming up with. This year, they include cameos from Emma Stone, Charli XCX, Andy Samberg, Taika Waititi and many, many more.
The Fragrances That Make Our Partners Instantly Irresistible
Scents that make the heart skip a beat
Our sense of smell has a unique ability to entice us. It can make our mouths water and draw us in almost magnetically. On the other hand, of course, it can just as easily repel us, prompting an instinctive recoil. It’s one of the reasons why we put so much thought into choosing a signature fragrance for ourselves. It should be morish and alluring, with a narrative that speaks to your personality. It also has to be a scent you want to surround yourself with all day long, and ideally, one that elicits the same response in others. Because, let’s be honest, fragrance is as much for you as it is for the people around you—especially your partner.

Bored of Your Winter Coat? A Faux-Fur Collar Is the Easiest Way to Give It an Instant Upgrade
A style trick straight from the streets of Copenhagen
Copenhagen Fashion Week is the gift that keeps on giving. More than a full week after coming back from my first-ever trip to the Scandi style capital, I’m still taking inspiration from the city’s crowd of cool girls—and their clever winter styling tricks in particular.
My personal favourite? Adding a faux-fur collar, snood, scarf or stole to a simple winter coat to transform it from functional to fashion-forward in seconds. Low-lift yet instantly impactful, it’s the kind of smart styling trick that feels effortless and intentional at the same time—like you’ve thought about your outfit, but without actually trying too hard. Not to mention the fact it adds a much-needed extra layer of warmth to your ensemble, too.
Why Sources Believe Harper Could Become the ‘New Face’ of the Beckham Empire
The Beckham family has been front and centre in 2026, with their relationship with Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham dominating the headlines.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family,” Victoria and David’s eldest son wrote in an explosive statement to Instagram last month, confirming reports of a fallout. “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
“I grew up with overwhelming anxiety,” Brooklyn later added, making multiple accusations about his parents. “For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief”.

How to Get to Heaven From Belfast: Who’s in the cast?
Let the craic ensue.
It’s been five years since the legendary TV series Derry Girls came to an end, and now its creator is finally back with an exciting new show — and a stellar Irish cast to match.
In How To Get To Heaven From Belfast, Lisa McGee turns her attention to another group of women, this time in their 30s, who find themselves thrown into an unexpected journey following a tragedy.
As production got underway, McGee shared her excitement in a statement, describing the female leads as “three flawed, funny women who are about to embark on the most thrilling and terrifying adventure of their lives.”
Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl 2026 Show Was a Joyful Act of Resilience—and Resistance
It was one of the most feverishly-anticipated, instantly-controversial halftime shows in history. You didn’t need to know Spanish to grasp the message: Puerto Rico is America; fiesta is a form of protest; joy is a kind of rebellion.
From the opening shot, tall grass shrouding the million-dollar box seats at Levi’s Arena, we weren’t in Santa Clara anymore. Bad Bunny didn’t so much headline the Super Bowl halftime show as take the halftime show on a trip to his native Puerto Rico, shimmying through sugar cane fields, grabbing a piragua and rolling by a few abuelos playing dominos before arriving at a throbbing, feverish fiesta set to one of his greatest hits, “Yo Perreo Sola.” It’s an infectious reggaeton anthem, but because Bad Bunny makes bangers out of his torching social and political observations, it is also about a woman’s right to twerk at the club, undisturbed by sexual harassment. In that same fashion, the chameleonic rapper delivered his promised party, but the vibrant celebration of Latino culture, performed at a dark time of oppression, was inherently political.
‘Halo Lips’ Are The Most Natural Way To Achieve A Fuller, Pillowy Pout – How To Recreate The Trend
Dua Lipa and Hailey Bieber have taken to the blurred effect
From film premieres to last weekend’s Grammys, this year’s red carpets have become a showcase for subtly sculpted, soft-focus lips. So far, make-up mogul Nina Park’s trademark ‘blurred lip’ has been at the forefront of the trend, but the newest variation – dubbed ‘halo lips’ – is adding an element of (natural) plumping.
Introduced by celebrity make-up artist Katie Jane Hughes, who has recently created the look on the likes of Dua Lipa, Hailey Bieber and Lily Allen, the halo effect grants not only fuller-looking lips and gentle definition, but strikes a balance between polished, editorial, and wearable. Flattering for all lip shapes, it’s the simplest way to elevate any everyday make-up look this winter.
Your Wuthering Heights-Coded Guide To Brontë Country
If the sight of Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie romping around the Yorkshire moors has given you an itch for a dramatic mini break, then look no further, here’s your stylish guide to Brontë country (moody Heathcliff optional).
For those keen on accuracy, head to Holdsworth House, where Elordi, Robbie and crew stayed during filming of Wuthering Heights, just outside Halifax. The hotel is a beautiful stone Grade II listed 17th-century Jacobean Manor house (it offers a Brontë break, with a breakfast included, tickets to the Brontë Parsonage and a hand-drawn walking guide to Haworth). When you’ve had your fill of beating-heart sightseeing, you can indulge in the kind of R and R that Cathy would have wept for. Its new Farmhouse treatment rooms use Irish luxury skincare brand Ground Wellbeing, formulations which are 100 per cent vegan and plant-based. Then eat like the Earnshaws with its eight-course tasting menu (featuring foraged wild mushrooms and Yorkshire venison) under the cosy restaurant’s original beamed low ceilings next to the roaring fire.
The 10 Best Nail Looks of the Week Are All About Feminine Lace and ‘Bridgerton’ Details
Presenting, my February manicure inspiration.
Call me biased (it is my birthday month after all) but February always brings in some fresh energy for me, which is much needed. And when doing my regularly scheduled scroll, I couldn’t help but feel a little lighter and more hopeful thanks to the amazing winter nail art that graced my screen.
This week, the best nail looks are all about being bright, bold, and playful. As we gear up for Valentine’s Day and a much needed three-day weekend, some V-Day-inspired manis are sure to soften even love’s harshest critics. For more bold looks, I cannot stop thinking about Zara Larsson’s sunny jeweled mani or this intricate Bridgerton-inspired design that has me wanting to live out my favorite period piece; give everyone involved all the awards immediately. And one of my favorite celebrity nail artists has taken my love for all things lace to a whole other level for a subtly sexy number that I can’t wait to try for my own manicure looks.
Inside the Olympics Opening Ceremony With Vittoria Ceretti and the Giorgio Armani Crowd
One of the ceremony’s most stylish moments occurred soon thereafter during the presentation of the flag to the guard of honor. Sixty models were dressed in Armani pantsuits for this portion, their green, white, and red colors mirroring Italy’s banner. And like Gisele Bundchen before her at the Rio de Janeiro Games, Vittoria Ceretti, another Italian supe, walked out last as the flag bearer. She wore a white Armani Privé gown, made fully custom for the occasion. It felt resonant, especially considering Mr. Armani’s recent passing. He actually had an early hand in designing part of the ceremony.
My Partner Is a Tea Snob, and He Uses This Clever Tool to Prevent Messy Hot Tea Spills
It’s much more effective than a simple tea towel.
Spilling the tea is only good when it’s a gab — not when it involves hot liquid. Just ask my dining table, which is sporting enough stains to be considered a mosaic, thanks to plenty of spilled oolong and my partner’s very heat-retentive Sweese teapot. Even with the cleanest-pouring teapots, spills are inevitable — or so we thought, until our recent trip to Taiwan.
During our visit to a popular teahouse, our server walked us through the brewing process, which was performed entirely on a bamboo tea tray. We’ve owned similar trays (like this one from Amazon) for years, primarily as decor. We never knew them to be necessary, until the server used theirs to catch boiling water when heating the teapot and cups, discarded tea from the first brew, and stray drips throughout. Not long ago, our table and countertops were victims of scalding water and messy spills. Now, my partner, who drinks copious amounts of tea every day, doesn’t brew unless it’s over a real tray — and now, we’re upgrading to the Lyty Bamboo Tea Tray.
Bad Bunny Tan Bueno In Historic Super Bowl Halftime Show With Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin & A Lot Of Latin Love – Review
Tan condenadamente bueno!
On Saturday, Gov. Gavin Newsom declared Super Bowl Sunday to be Bad Bunny Day in California. Today, Bad Bunny himself took center field at the Super Bowl LX halftime show and made the day for everyone, Spanish-speaking and otherwise.
Aside from all the MAGA foot stamping & NFL audience ambitions Bunny had to endure on the way to Sunday’s big show, the recently minted Album of the Year winner faced a very high bar to meet or surpass last year’s tour de force from Kendrick Lamar. Yet, rising to a challenge, and the moment, has often been one of the major flexes of Bunny a.k.a. Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio’s success.
Coming to a conclusion with Bunny proclaiming “God bless America” in English and tossing a “Together, We Are America” engraved football, tonight’s performance was a complex and compelling success.
Bad Bunny Delivers ‘Together We Are America’ Message During Halftime Show Starring Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin & More
The superstar’s 13-minute performance celebrated Puerto Rican culture on a global stage.
After a momentous Grammys night on Feb. 1 — where he became the first artist to win album of the year with an all-Spanish-language LP, Debí Tirar Más Fotos — Bad Bunny ignited the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. on Sunday (Feb. 8) with a headlining Super Bowl Halftime Show destined to go down in history.
As the Seattle Seahawks soared to a 9-0 lead over the New England Patriots by halftime, anticipation was high for El Conejo Malo to take over. He kicked off his electrifying set with “Tití Me Preguntó” while donning an off-white football jersey emblazoned with his last name, Ocasio, and the number ’64. Striding across the field, he passed workers in traditional pava (straw) hats, setting the tone for a celebration steeped in Puerto Rican culture.

Watch the best and worst Super Bowl 2026 commercials, featuring Jennifer Aniston, George Clooney, Sofía Vergara, and more
This year’s crop of game-day ads take viewers from tropical islands to snow-dappled slopes with the likes of Lady Gaga, Spike Lee, Emma Stone, and many more.
The biggest day in commercials has arrived! Sports too, but the Super Bowl really is to its ads what chips are to dip.
While the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots duked it out on the gridiron at Santa Clara’s Levi’s Stadium, viewers at home were treated to dozens of high-priced ads featuring famous faces in music, entertainment, sports, and beyond.
Highlights included Ben Stiller flipping over Benson Boone; Guy Fieri shaving his iconic goatee; Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum staging a Jurassic Park reunion; William Shatner turning his own name into a mega poop joke; and an all-star roster of former sitcom stars like Jennifer Aniston and Ted Danson coming together to parody an Oscar-winning movie.

Designers inherently understand how color can shape light in a room. With that in mind, we spoke to these experts about their go-to paint colors for low-light areas.
