Bridgerton stars Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha continue to sell season four like the rent is due, although you won’t hear us complaining when stars decide to get dressed up and pose for pictures. You will, however, hear our opinions about their efforts. The two got themselves gussied up once again for a special BFI screening in London.
They don’t appear to have coordinated ahead of time.
LUKE THOMPSON IN DZOJCHEN
This is a fine suit in a lovely color that looks great on him. We just think it should have some contrasting hues somewhere. We’re tired of this monochromatic suiting trend. For some reason, it makes every guy look like a mannequin. But he looks fine, of course. We don’t like this particular trend but there’s nothing wrong with him following it if he wants to. The Frankenstein shoes buy a little but we’ll take them over dainty doll feet.
YERIN HA IN LOUIS VUITTON
It’s not a dull or forgettable look, we’ll give it that. We don’t think the textile lends itself well to the design, which calls for a lighter, less stiff fabric than this. It’s an interesting print, but it looks better suited to a jacket rather than a shift. The boots only serve to make the whole thing feel heavier. She looks gorgeous, but we don’t like anything she’s wearing.
