Well, we’ve milked the 2026 BAFTAs with enough coverage, all of which you can and should catch up on here, but it’s time to round the stragglers up and send them home, good and judged. Help us out here.
Aimee Lou Wood in Emilia Wickstead

The design is dowdy and the color is totally wrong for her.
Alicia Vikander in Louis Vuitton

There’s way too much going on here. Lose the cutout and the peplum at the very least.
Carey Mulligan in Prada

It’s the good kind of minimalism. The color helps a lot. She could’ve used more aggressive styling.
Chase Infiniti in Louis Vuitton

Fabulous. This girl’s got a knack for working the trickiest of skirts. The color and fit are fantastic. Hair and earrings are gorgeous.
Emily Watson in Emilia Wickstead

It’s got a restrained elegance that suits her, although we don’t think that color helps her very much, nor does the wet head.
Erin Doherty in Louis Vuitton

Another gal who loves herself a skirt that calls for two chairs to sit in. Love this. The shoes are kind of meh but then again you wouldn’t want to fight with that frock. Kind of hate that Flintstone hem, though. We actually think the plunging neckline works here, it literally draws your eye to the skirt.
Gillian Anderson in Roksanda

This is pretty and distinct, but the print’s kind of muddy for the red carpet and that cord sash is awful.
Glenn Close in Erdem

Lose the skirt and get yourself in a pair of plain black pants with a high hem, Glenn. Those shoes are fun, but they don’t work well with a skirt and that skirt is simply way too much with everything else going on, not to mention it’s drably unflattering.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw in Giorgio Armani

Pretty. The design is basic but we really like the textile and color story. We’re also thrilled to see a not black shoe. Love the hair and jewelry.
Hannah Waddingham in Pamella Roland

She could wear this in her sleep. That’s not a dig, it just means she knows what works for her. The color’s great. The shoe choice, not so much.
Jenna Coleman in Armani Privé

Wow, that is insanely unflattering. The embellishments look like gunshot wounds and the way they’re placed looks like someone threw darts at a dress form.
Kathryn Hahn in Lanvin

The color is gorgeous but the horizontal seam and pie crust collar look terrible on her.
Kerry Washington in Prada

Pure stunning. What a gorgeous color. Love the play of textiles and finishes.
Maggie Gyllenhaal in McQueen

Lovely. The cuff detail is gorgeous without overwhelming the look. It all feels forties-retro without being costumey, which is where her style sweet spot lies.
Maya Rudolph in Chanel

No, ma’am. That’s a mess.
Milly Alcock in McQueen

This is fun, but that corseted dickie is kind of awful and unnecessary. Love the sloppy bun.
Minnie Driver in Emilia Wickstead

Very White House Correspondents Dinner. Yes, that’s a burn.
Monica Bellucci in Stella McCartney

Can’t argue that it doesn’t suit her but the dress design is a little too self-consciously Morticia. The necklace does a lot to elevate it.
Noah Jupe in Jacquemus

This is great. It’s nice to see a young guy taking an interest in unusual styles.
Odessa A’zion in Dior

It has a sort of dark cloud feel to it that really suits her, but we don’t love how shapeless it is.
Olivia Cooke in Giorgio Armani

The shoulders and neckline are way too sporty and kind of unflattering with that rather full skirt. Just a weirdly unbalanced look.
Sadie Sink in Prada

It’s a very pretty gown and we appreciate the unusual color but we don’t think that shade is the best choice for her.
Sheila Atim in Armani Privé

Can’t argue with that.
