Time to wrap this thing up, wouldn’t you say? It’s a two-man operation round these parts and it takes these salty old bloggers half a week to get through a major awards show. So with the excuse-making out of the way, let’s tell all of these poor stars, who have been waiting days to hear what we think of their outfits. If you need catching up on our Grammys coverage, here you go.

We should be mad at this, but we think it must be a case of the right dress on the right person, because this kind of works for us. We’re not crazy about mullet skirts, but a reverse mullet is at least an interesting twist. We’re pretty sure it works best in that exact pose, which makes it a fairly impractical choice.

Benson Boone in Giorgio Armani

Disappointingly dull.

Chrissy Teigen (in Caroline’s Couture) and John Legend (in Louis Vuitton)

He’s always fine, in every sense of the word. Her gown isn’t exactly to our tastes, but we can’t really find fault with it. We’re not sure how well the ombre works.

Coco Jones in Kristina Kharlashkina

A bunch of style cliches.

Darren Criss in Tanner Fletcher

It’s giving Ellen at the Emmys.

FKA Twigs in Paolo Carzona

She looks like a mummy who was buried in old pantyhose.

Katseye in Ludovic De Saint Sernin

There’s just no way to sport that much unlined white lace without looking cheap and tacky, no matter the design.

Kehlani in Valdrin Sahiti
Pin

Not a bad way to show off the tats, but we’d like it better without the keyhole.

Kelsea Ballerini in Etro

This is gorgeous at first glance and becomes more interesting the longer you look at it, We love how the green is utilized.

Kesha in Atelier Biser

Newp. That is not working, girl.

Lainey Wilson in Gaurav Gupta

It’s not that you can’t work an open neckline and a train with a cowboy hat, but this combination of elements isn’t working.

Laufey in Miu Miu

Bad color, over-embellished, and unflattering. It’s like a bad choice trifecta.

Lola Young in Vivienne Westwood

This is fun, genuinely interesting and unique, and it feels like a high-fashion representation of her. We kind of love it.

Miles Caton in Louis Vuitton

These pieces are pretty cute and suit him well, but we don’t love the proportions here. It might work better with the shirt tucked in.

Rosé in Saint Laurent
Pin

She looks really cute but those things are way too big. It looks like she’s carrying them.

Sombr in Valentino

LOVE the suit, love the shirt, hate the shoes. We absolutely understand why you’d want to avoid, say, platforms with a suit like this. It takes it in a throwback direction. We just don’t think these dainty slippers are the right choice either. It’s like over-correcting.

Tyla in Dsquared2

Meh. It’s fine, but feathers feels like such a fallback option and beige ones are so dull.

Zara Larsson in Germanier

We stick with what we said in our Cosmo writeup: the skirt is gorgeous, but she looks like a hostess at a tropical themed restaurant.
