Carrie Coon is starring in husband Tracey Letts’s play Bug on Broadway and she stopped by Live with Kelly & Mark to chat about it in her Serious New York Actress ensemble, courtesy of Thom Browne, the choice of Serious New York Actresses everywhere.
First, the pixie’s looking really cute. We didn’t like the bleached version. Second, the coat is absolutely gorgeous. The dress and blouse really suit her. She’s got what we can only describe as a soft edge to her and Thom Browne’s aesthetic works well helping to pull that out of her. But the thing about Browne ensembles is that they’re very specific and if you try to edit them, they’re not going to work as well. We hate to say it, but the look book version with the boots and the necktie would have worked better for her.
