The stars came out for director Bradley Cooper’s Is This Thing On? premiere in LA. We thank them for their tireless efforts in providing us last-minute content before the holidays but we’re still going to judge their asses, and by asses we mean their clothes, not their actual asses. That would be mean and not in keeping with the reason for the season. And now, fun and merriment:

Moving on to judgment:
Laura Dern in Marc Jacobs

Well alright then, Miss Laura Dern. Quietly just standing there in the best outfit you’ve worn all year. The collar’s goofy and we feel like the boots and skirt color are not quite far enough apart, but this style looks fantastic on her.
Will Arnett

He’s not a fashion guy, we get that. But we figure if you can get a guy in a suit and dress shoes, you could probably talk him into maybe a nice sweater or a patterned shirt. This is all kind of dreary.
Andra Day in Blumarine

No, ma’am. Not even you. Disaster.
Kristen Wiig

This is almost shockingly low-key for her. She tends to like weird fashion but this is straight-up rocker chick and we’re surprised at how well it suits her.
Connor Storrie

Work that moment, kid. This is fun and hot. We’d complain about him not wearing an undershirt, but that would be missing the point. Still, this sort of open-shirt style does tend to work better with darker colors than white, which always comes off flimsy in pictures. Then again, flimsy is also the point.
François Arnaud

He fills out the turtleneck nicely, so we won’t complain about that, but the pants are kind of unflattering, no? Maybe a belt would help.
Sasheer Zamata

That’s a fantastic pair of jeans and the jacket is a great choice with it. The necklace is also gorgeous, although we think there’s a bit too much going on around the face and neck for it to be anything but a distraction. Still, it’s all stylish and really well suited to her.
Alan Starzinski

Cute, actually. Maybe a little too cazh, but we appreciate the belt. A pair of boots would instantly make this more red carpet ready.
