LACMA Art + Film Gala 2025: Quinta Brunson in Galvan

Aw, now we kinda feel bad. We chose to give Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson’s look for the LACMA Art + Film Gala the spotlight treatment because we glanced at the thumbnails late on Sunday night and thought she looks great enough for us to give her a werq and a couple of snaps. Unfortunately, when it came to put the post together many hours later (and just before we got on a plane), we realized that this wasn’t as great a look as we originally thought.

She and her team have been doing a fantastic job of turning the diminutive star into a sex siren whenever she feels like it. Their use of styling and proportions have served her very well. We like the basic style of the dress and we think it suits her really well. The jewelry is well chosen and that little pixie cut is absolutely adorable on her. Unfortunately, the design is giving her way more sideboob than was intended and the strap is cutting into her back too much. With a different look, these wouldn’t be dealbreakers, but this style is meant to be sleek and minimalist, so the details have to be exactly right. We have to admit, even if the fit was perfect, we still wouldn’t like that neckline, which looks like it’s sticking its tongue out at us.
