Song Sung Blue stars Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson seem to have settled into an agreed-upon strategy for their promotional style. Said strategy can be summed up as:
“You, Kate Hudson, will continue to wear increasingly insane and uncomfortable outfits while I, Hugh Jackman, will dress like I’m on a fourth date.”
We give her all the credit in the world for doing the work, but unfortunately, the dress is ugly, tacky and incredibly over-designed. It just looks so dumb with that complicated bra top situation and the multiple necklines wind up looking sloppy. Also, the sleeve design is annoyingly overwrought. They’re sleeves. You don’t have to complicate them so much. On the other end of the style spectrum…
Is this guy. And sure, we can admit that everything he’s wearing is clearly of the highest quality. But we’ll never understand why, when a brand like Zegna is offering to dress you, you’d pick stuff that looks like it came from the Banana Republic sales rack.
