Jeremy Allen White, absolutely the dullest dresser in Hollywood at the moment, is out promoting Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere in fits that the Boss would not approve of.

People will look at this pile of generic basicness and go “Oh, but he’s channeling Springsteen!” No. Two things about that: One, he’s not in costume playing a character, so “channeling” anybody is just a terrible way of looking at fashion and two, the real Springsteen tends to dress better than this whenever he’s in public. Bonus third thing: this is a film promotion, so dressing like you’re actually proud of the work is expected.

The thing about constantly dressing to announce that fashion doesn’t matter to you is that when it’s time for you to get dressed up, you’re always gonna look like shit. Gotta keep those skills sharp for when they matter.
