Colin Farrell and Fala Chen came to the Toronto International Film Festival to premiere their film Ballad of a Small Player. We tend to think Colin Farrell does better on the red carpet when he’s posing with a female co-star.
But we’re not sure that applies in this instance.

It’s a great suit, but we loathe the idea of pairing it with a scoop neck shirt and suede loafers. You’d have to work to pick worse accompaniments than those. He also needs to lay off the tanning and the hair dye. He looks like he was swimming in tea.
Fala Chen in Christopher John Rogers
She’s gorgeous and we love the color on her. The skirt is great, but that awful bodice essentially ruins the whole look. We don’t understand the wrinkly boobs trend that’s been all over red carpets lately.
ABOUT THE MOVIE:
Lord Doyle (Colin Farrell) is laying low in Macau – spending his days and nights on the casino floors, drinking heavily and gambling what little money he has left. Struggling to keep up with his fast-rising debts, he is offered a lifeline by the mysterious Dao Ming (Fala Chen), a casino employee with secrets of her own.
However, in hot pursuit is Cynthia Blithe (Tilda Swinton) – a private investigator ready to confront Doyle with what he is running from. As Doyle tries to climb to salvation, the confines of reality start to close in.
