The cast of The Rooster hit the red carpet in their depression clothes for the series premiere. Once again we find ourselves pleading with the stars to give us color and dazzle during times of darkness and stress. That’s your job! You’re not here to reflect our own doldrums back at us! Let’s get judgy(er):

We came around on brown suits and dresses for the red carpet, but we will remain firm in standing against brown-and-black as a viable color combo for any picture-taking situation. It looks terrible. Also, the shirt and tie are tacky in their shininess and the suit looks like it’s a little snug on him.

Pretty and elegant — possibly a little too much so considering it’s a cable series launch. Still, she never fails to bring it. The styling is low-key but again, anything more grandiose would look odd for a promotion like this. Is it us or does her makeup look a little off?

Businessy and ill-fitting. You’re too hot to be out looking so mediocre.

The top has an elegant drape to it but we can’t say those pants are doing anything for it. She could use a brooch or something to break up all that black.
