Jared Leto and Jodie Turner-Smith do not go small when it comes to their promotional responsibilities, so it’s perhaps not entirely surprising that they’d both show up for the Tron: Ares photo call in Milan looking red carpet-ready.
We love that she’s not willing to cede one centimeter of the spotlight from this famously attention-seeking star, even if she’s doing the kind of promo fashion that makes our eyelids twitch.

It’s fine. It’s whatever. He’s taken his usual messianic schtick and dialed it back to minimalist levels. It works for him. We’ll give him some small amount of credit: given his age, his rockstar sensibilities, and his attention-seeking pretension, it’s actually somewhat admirable that he manages to evolve his style and not let it calcify the way Johnny Depp’s has.

On the one hand, yes, she looks amazing. That’s probably the only thing that matters here. On the other hand, dressing like a circuit board for your Tron movie is just a little too gimmicky for our tastes.
ABOUT THE MOVIE
“TRON: Ares” follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings. The feature film is directed by Joachim Rønning and stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Jodie Turner-Smith, Hasan Minhaj, Arturo Castro and Cameron Monaghan, with Gillian Anderson and Jeff Bridges.
Sean Bailey, Jared Leto, p.g.a., Emma Ludbrook, p.g.a., Jeffrey Silver, Justin Springer, p.g.a., and Steven Lisberger are the producers, with Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross, Russell Allen, and Joseph Kosinski serving as executive producers. The screenplay is by Jesse Wigutow, with story by David DiGilio and Wigutow, based on characters created by Steven Lisberger and Bonnie MacBird.
Disney’s “TRON: Ares” releases in U.S. theaters on October 10, 2025.
