Met Gala co-chair A$AP didn’t necessarily sport the most dazzling look of the night, but we feel he deserves a little spotlight post nonetheless. Besides, while the look itself wasn’t over-the-top, it had some fine details that are worth a closer look.
The ensemble was created by his design studio AWGE. He said that he wanted to pay tribute to his hometown of New York and his neighborhood of Harlem. We like how it combines aspects of classic formal menswear with more street-appropriate elements. The jewelry is stunning, but the necklace doesn’t work with the collar. The umbrella was a cute touch, although we think a walking stick would have made more sense. His hair looks amazing.
