Scarlett Johansson has seen her directorial debut premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, and for the photo call, she opted for a style change. That’s not all that notable on its own because actresses who move into directing frequently switch up their styles for something a bit less glamorous (not to mention taxing on them) for the promotion. What’s kind of funny about this switch?
She pretty much showed up in Greta Gerwig cosplay. It’s a cute look, although the details could use some zhuzhing. The top is bunching up on for some reason and that lip color is glaringly wrong. But it’s giving serious lady cineaste vibes and that’s clearly what she was going for.
