Da’Vine Joy Randolph kicked off her Taormina Film Festival jury duty by serving up a couple of looks, as one might expect. One of them was super-cute; the other, not so much.
AT THE JURY PHOTO CALL
The super-cute one, of course. This is a no-brainer of a dress; cute, easy, and flattering. It would look just as great in any color, but we like how simple and chic this looks in the black and white. Her hair looks great, but her makeup could’ve used another pass.
AT THE OPENING EVENT
We just don’t like this one at all. She’s worn that style of skirt before and we’ve never loved that central flounce running down the front. Still, it’s the bodice design that bugs. With the high collar, accentuated shoulders, pin stripe and snug fit, it simply looks uncomfortable.
