Between The Gilded Age and And Just Like That… both returning this summer, we figure you’re going to be seeing a lot of Cynthia Nixon making the promo rounds. She stopped by The View to chat about her busy season this week. If we were asked to whip up a style brief for her during this time, we’d say to keep the look: 1) as modern as possible, in order to offset all of those corsets and bustles, 2) with a high-fashion flair, because you pretty much have to if you’re promoting anything related to Sex and the City, and 3) in a mode that will appeal to her, because she’s not a shapewear and stilettos kind of lady.
We’d say she nailed it, although we don’t know that this makes all that great a choice. Still, it’s high-impact, comfortable, and bold. She could do worse.
