The stars of The Accountant stepped out onto the red carpet at the LA premiere ready to slay and serve looks. Haha, just kidding. Only some of them made the attempt. But hey, one of them is a guy, so that’s something.
Ben Affleck
It’s theme-dressing. He came dressed like an accountant.
Cynthia Addai-Robinson
We don’t mind all that foofaraw, but we hate how and where it’s placed. We can see starting it at the waist or at some point below the knees, but halfway down the thighs?
Jon Bernthal
Not even he can make a tank top work with a double-breasted black suit.
Daniella Pineda
We don’t blame a gal for taking her moment and running with it, but this strikes us as fairly grandiose for this kind of premiere. If you get rid of the train and the boob wings, it would work just fine.
Grant Harvey
The color looks great on him, but the entire look is way too shiny. We appreciate the obvious effort, especially with the jewelry and shoe choice, but this doesn’t pull together as well as it could.
ABOUT THE MOVIE:
Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) has a talent for solving complex problems. When an old acquaintance is murdered, leaving behind a cryptic message to “find the accountant,” Wolff is compelled to solve the case. Realizing more extreme measures are necessary, Wolff recruits his estranged and highly lethal brother, Brax (Jon Bernthal), to help. In partnership with U.S. Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), they uncover a deadly conspiracy, becoming targets of a ruthless network of killers who will stop at nothing to keep their secrets buried.
