Oscars 2025: THE SUBSTANCE Star Demi Moore in Armani Privé

The Substance star Demi Moore rolled up to the Dolby Theater feeling like a frontrunner and looking like a million bucks. We were originally thinking of putting this dress up to an IN or OUT vote, but we suspect the voting would go overwhelmingly one way, if only out of sympathy for her. Then again, it would be hard to vote against this knockout of a frock:

To be fair, we’re not without our quibbles. It’s incredibly stiff and heavy-looking. The straps look thin and flimsy and we’re not sure how much we’re loving that hip swag. But she looks every inch a winner and a movie star. While her loss might be a letdown for the people who were rooting for her, the fact remains that she pulled off an impressive career and image turnaround. She looks amazing.
