As we’ve noted several times over the last year, it’s been a pleasure watching Emilia Perez star Selena Gomez walk away from her formerly tacky Disney Kid/pop princess red carpet style and move into a more traditional but much more glamorous classic movie star style. What can we say? We love it when a lady star figures it out right in front of our eyes.
AT THE OSCARS IN RALPH LAUREN
To be fair, the bust is too tight here, the straps are digging into her, and she’d be better off in a darker color, but come on. Those are nitpicks. She’s serving up pure Sophia Loren realness here and she looks exquisite. Besides, all of those quibbles we just listed?
AT THE VANITY FAIR OSCAR PARTY IN ARMANI PRIVÉ
She corrected all of them for the after-party. Gorgeous jewelry, perfect hair, flawless look. Success and love look fantastic on this girl.
