2025 Sundance Film Festival Cozy, Snuggly Red Carpet Rundown

The Sundance Film Festival rarely allows for the kind of glamour and hottie looks that the average film festival tends to generate. Because of its cold-weather Park City, Utah setting, you won’t see many sequins or sandals at this one. What you will see is a parade of stars doing the one thing stars tend to avoid most often: opting for comfort over self-promotion. Olivia Colman navigated these icy waters by smartly choosing a highly covetable and photogenic sweater that pretty much earned her a spotlight post, but we figured we’d round up a few more attendees and see how they did keeping themselves wrapped up.

Super-cute sweater, great color combo, smart choice of footwear.

Enh. If Prada offers to lend you free clothes, don’t go for the velour overshirt, for God’s sake.

We don’t love sweater jackets, but this one is a little photogenic, at least. The jeans are awful.

Adorable. And well coordinated, to boot.

The coat’s fine, but ooof, kid, don’t let them put you in jeans and dress shoes.

We kinda love this. It’s not exactly our style, but it’s definitely loaded with style.

Gave up.

Those zippers look hellaciously annoying and we don’t even think they’re needed, but this is a pretty chic cold-weather look.

Works for us.

The camel skirt was a smart way to break up the black. The boots are cute.

Miss Tessa will not be wearing shapeless sweaters and dingy jeans no matter how cold the weather gets, thank you very much. We thank her for her efforts. We love how unexpected the shapes are and how the gloves lend so much impact. We don’t think the sheer blouse works, but that’s our only quibble.
