We held out hope briefly that Nightbitch star Amy Adams would loosen up a little on her rather narrow style and try to have a little fun with her fashion on this promo tour. Unforch, she’s back on her bullshit.

To be fair, this doesn’t look bad at all. Like almost everything she chooses to wear for promo work, it’s perfectly fine. We just think she can do so much more than “perfectly fine” and given how often she gets nominated for awards she doesn’t wind up winning, we strongly believe that it would do her some good to shake things up more. Colors, prints, sparkle, volume and silhouette are all at her disposal. She should utilize them more. These sedate dresses in neutrals do nothing for her.
