Style File: Naomi Scott Promotes SMILE 2 in New York

Smile2 star Naomi Scott continues to work that killer pixie cut and some semi-cray to SUPER-cray style choices as she makes the rounds to promote the film. We salute and appreciate her efforts. Now we will criticize them. First, the semi-cray:

Although, to be fair, wearing a sheer just about anywhere isn’t exactly considered all that cray among the celebrity set. The color looks amazing on her, but this is so clearly a look for standing and posing. The was she’s sitting makes it fairly clear that she’s not all that comfortable sitting in that top and the amount of volume around her legs makes it look like she brought her laundry with her. Love the boots, but like the rest of the look, they’re not conducive to sitting. And now for the super-cray:

Don’t say we didn’t warn you. It’s just that there’s no warning sufficient to prepare you for… whatever the hell all of this is. Why is the sweater cropped in the back and long in the front? Why is she wearing a belt over it? What is the point of that sad patch of fringe? Why would you wear so many layers over a skirt so flimsy that it won’t survive a strong sneeze? Sure, getting press and attention is the name of the game, but the trick is to not step out looking like a smacked ass when you try it.
