A Real Pain co-stars Kieran Culkin and Jesse Eisenberg palled around on the red carpet at the BFI London Film Festival premiere, but only one of them put any work into his look. We’ll let you guess which one.
Just kidding, of course. We’re gonna tell you, even though it’s obvious.
Sir, this is terrible. It has never made sense to us. If you’re going to go to the trouble of wearing a decent suit, why would you pick the least interesting one possible? We’re not asking for neons or pinks, but a little bit of muted color or pattern does a lot. Case in point:
This is fantastic. Everything looks to be of really high quality, well-fitted and perfectly flattering to him. There are no wild flourishes or bold colors, but there’s texture, pattern, contrast and layering. Sure, the chain brooch is a little dandy, but the outfit work just as well without it. Our point is that male style can be subdued and easy to wear if you make smart choices and listen to people who know how to style. He looks great.
