Congratulations to Jennifer Lawrence on the announcement of her second pregnancy. The star was on hand at AFI Fest for the premiere of her executive-produced documentary on abortion rights, Zurawski v. Texas. Now let’s all judge her dress.
We’re kidding. Sure, we have a few things to say here, but we’ve been at this game long enough to know that two gays getting bitchy about a pregnant woman’s style choices at an abortion documentary premiere is just asking for a shitload of well-deserved trouble. She looks fine; comfy, profesh, photogenic. Love the bangs. HAVING SAID THAT… the design works so much better as a short jacket over pants. We get why she wouldn’t go for that version, but turning it into a sleeveless trench coat dress kinda loses something essential to the original design.

ABOUT THE DOCUMENTARY:
Women denied abortions under Texas’ ambiguous and unforgiving abortion bans band together with a fearless attorney to sue Texas. While battling in court against the state and its immovable Attorney General, the extent of their traumatic experiences is revealed as they wrestle to regain their reproductive futures and set a precedent for millions of other women and families. ZURAWSKI V TEXAS reveals the dire impact of losing access to healthcare—and the extraordinary efforts of the women and men fighting on the frontline to regain those rights.
From Executive Producers Jennifer Lawrence, Hillary Clinton, and Chelsea Clinton, this urgent film reveals the true, dire consequences of losing access to healthcare and the right to make decisions for yourself–and the monumental effort it will take to win it back. You can watch Zurawski v Texas online this Saturday, Oct. 26th, and Sunday, Oct 27th – and tune in for an exclusive virtual Q&A on Sunday at 7pm ET with special guests.
