Austin Butler and Matt Smith were spotted on location in New York shooting their upcoming film Caught Stealing, directed by Darren Aronofsky and co-starring Zoë Kravitz and Regina King. Based on the book of the same name by Charlie Huston about a former baseball player who gets embroiled in the criminal world of New York City in the 1990s. There. Now you’re all caught up. But what’s really important here is how Matt Smith was born to wear classic punk looks.
He’s not only working the hell out of this look in his forties, when it winds up looking sad more often than not, but he’s pulling all the focus away from Butler. He looks kind of amazing. It’s so rare to see a classic hardcore punk out in the wild these days. Needs more piercings, though.
