The Duke and Duchess of Sussex continue their tour of Colombia and we continue to have opinions on Meghan’s style choices for the trip. Did you expect any different from us?
Harry and Meghan participated in the Responsible Digital Future Summit along with Colombian Vice President Márquez. We wish we could say she continued her good style streak from yesterday, but this outfit is just awful. There’s “prefers not to wear tight clothing” and then there’s just wearing pajamas in public. The blouse and the pants don’t coordinate well at all. The colors clash, but they’re just close enough to make the matte/satin pairing look awkward. The last thing we’d have recommended for this outfit would’ve been a pair of mustard yellow sandals. It’s all just so unflattering and unphotogenic. It’s not a great thing for everyone else on the stage to be better dressed than she is.
Later, they visited Colegio La Giralda in Santa Fe. We have nothing bad to say about this look. It’s on point for where she is and what she’s doing. Anything fussier (not that she goes for much fuss) would have made her look like a dilettante. We get bored with her love of neutrals and earth tones, but that’s a really nice jacket. The flats are cute.
After that, it was a visit with the Colombian Invictus Games team in a skirt by Colombian designer Juan de Dios. It’s cute. We’d love to see her get away from these plain Oxford-style blouses.
