With no major film festivals or summer movies opening, it’s the perfect week for celeb ladies to put on a pretty dress for a good cause. The late Cameron Boyce’s former Descendents co-stars Dove Cameron and Sofia Carson came out for the Cam For a Cause gala, as part of the Cameron Boyce Foundation’s commitment to epilepsy awareness. Joining them on the red carpet in high style was last year’s recipient of the organization’s Youth Empowerment award, Yara Shahidi. Ladies, that is your invitation to serve.
Dove Cameron
We love this. We might normally suggest that the shade of blue isn’t the right one for her, but the touches of black, including in the mani, give it just enough contrast and a little edge. It’s retro-romantic, but with a surprisingly grandiose skirt. Givent he surroundings, the relatively light styling is right for it, although a delicate little chain necklace would look just right here.
Sofia Carson in Oscar de la Renta
Her red carpet style is always wildly dramatic. In a lot of ways, this is low-key for her. Our only real issue with it is how shapeless it is.
Yara Shahidi in Vintage Dior
This is gorgeous, although we think the jacket should be tied as intended and those shoes make the dreariest possible choice.
