Director John Krasinski joined some of the castmembers of his new film IF (Ryan Reynolds must have been busy) for the London premiere.

The looks were pretty cute overall.

Giles Deacon specializes in this sort of voluminous tent dress, but they’re not for everyone. Usually, his partner Gwendoline Christie makes the perfect model for them. We’re not convinced that they’re right for Fiona. The color’s nice and we don’t mind the roominess of it, but the sleeves are mumsy and the bow looks pretty raggedy.

It’s aggressively cutesy, right down to the friendship bracelets. We don’t mind any of it, although it seems strange to wear a sweater and then roll the sleeves up so high.

Keeping it Junior. She’s 17 but she looks younger and she certainly appears to be playing younger in the film, so it makes a certain sense to keep the red carpet look on the sweet side. But we have to say, the shoe color looks garish with the dress.

We have to laugh. You will not get PWB to dress cutesy or juvenile, no matter what she’s promoting. She sticks tightly to her chic, tailored, black-and-white preferences. We don’t love the blouse, but the suit is gorgeous.

ABOUT THE MOVIE:
From writer and director John Krasinski, IF is about a girl who discovers that she can see everyone’s imaginary friends — and what she does with that superpower — as she embarks on a magical adventure to reconnect forgotten IFs with their kids. IF stars Ryan Reynolds, John Krasinski, Cailey Fleming, Fiona Shaw, and the voices of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr. and Steve Carell alongside many more as the wonderfully unique characters that reflect the incredible power of a child’s imagination.
